Comeback stories are as old as sport itself. So when Tiger Woods
came back from numerous back surgeries, significant challenges and doubt from
all over the globe, to win the 2019 Masters Tournament, the story wasn’t so much the comeback. That was amazing in and of itself. Instead, it was the overwhelming happiness the victory brought. The joy was evident on Tiger’s face as his trademark smile was back on the biggest golf stage
of all. But that joy was also clear on the faces and body language of his family, his inner
circle and his fellow golfers alike. For everyone was well aware of the work Tiger
put in to make it back to this place, a victory at Augusta National for his fifth
Green Jacket and 15th major championship overall.
