" A portrait of what I seem to see more than not, young women who
have been hurt too many times or scorned so deep they seem to operate
on this level of a shell of themselves. No matter how great things seem on
the surface you will always know that inside of you is that side of you.
Unfortunately its also that thing we find attractive and desirable as we
are wanting to save them in some sort of romance. "
Todd White

Born in 1969 in Texas, Todd came from humble roots. During his
twenties he relocated to Hollywood and worked in the animation
field, developing characters at some of the most renowned
production studios in the country. He was even part of the lead
team for the international hit cartoon series SpongeBob SquarePants.

Todd White's distinctive style and down to earth personality have won 
him an international reputation. He always names his pieces first, 
visualizes faces and personalities, then develops each person's story.
What isn't  necessary to the story doesn't go on the canvas. His
paintings captivate people.  They often invoke laughter and demand
repeated viewings. By revealing his subjects'  innermost feelings
he creates timeless scenes of attraction and intimacy. 
He studies body language, using its nuances to capture the
subtleties of what people  show and hide.

and intimacy; beneath the exaggerated features and textured skin
of his characters there is truth, both ours and theirs. We experience
the subjects in White's work every day, but because his perspection
is so unusual he alters the way we perceive the people we encounter
and the roles we play around each other. He studies body language,
utilizing the nuances of his source material to capture the
subtleties of what one shows and what one hides.
