In the deep shrouded rain forest, nothing stays unveiled; a dangerous stillness that is pierced
now and then by the warning sounds of birds or the rushing of nearby water. Occasionally,
the forest will lift its veil to reveal its contrasting beauty. The gentle sight of a blue morpho
butterfly landing on a leaf. The dangerous beauty of a lithe black jaguar, the pride of the rain
forest, reclining on a branch high above the jungle.

and speed of this giant black cat have captivated the imagination of many. I wanted to capture
this animal in all its mystery and portray its unpredictable nature with a rare expression of softness
in order to capture that moment before its natural instincts are aroused.”
