David Louis - Salmon

David Louis was born in 1969. He carries on the family tradition of native carving.
His father David Louis Sr. is Musqueam and his mother is Squamish.
Although he has developed
his own style, he has been strongly influenced by his father
and carvers like William Watts, Dave Nahanee,
Edmund Williams, Darren Lewis and Peter Charlie.
David loves to carve plaques, masks, panels, totem poles
and paddles. His work is treasured by many collectors throughout the world.
