Opening Night in of itself is a special night but on October 12, 2022, Connor McDavid turned opening night at Rogers Place
into a night to remember. The Canucks would jump out to a 3-0 lead after scoring their third goal of the game
just 39 seconds into the second period casting an early dark cloud over the optimism of a new season at Rogers Place.
From there McDavid would take over, after providing an assist and a goal in the second period McDavid would tally
two more goals in the third period in helping the Oilers defeat the Canucks 5-3. McDavid’s second goal of the night,
the tiebreaking goal with 4:59 left in the third period would also be his 700th career point making him the sixth-fastest
player to hit the mark in 488 games.

This authentic Edmonton Oilers blue Adidas jersey is autographed and inscribed “700 PTS 10/12/22” by Connor McDavid.
