"I find striking differences when I compare the European robin to the American robin. European robins are small, fragil and brownish-gray in color with a bright orange-brown breast. The American robin, on the other hand, reminds me more of the European blackbird. The American robin is hardier and is often seen in groups, whereas the European robin is a solitary bird.
