Sunset over the magnificent Sneffels Range near Telluride - one of the grandest vistas in Colorado.
To the left is Mount Sneffels (14,155’), known as 'The Queen of the San Juans’.
Sneffels dominates the landscape and is one of the most iconic peaks in the state. I've climbed the peak three times
- twice in the dark so that I could photograph sunrise from its summit.
This image was created by stitching together six individual images,
resulting in a crystal clear image that is best viewed as a large panorama.
