" It is a never-ending thrill to live in bald eagle country. Although we do not
see them every day, we can expect a passing visit at any time. There may
be a soaring silhouette crossing my studio skylight or, if we are lucky, an
eagle may perch on one of the dead snags overlooking the sea a few yards
away. We never tire of the honourable visitor and always dash to the
window for a view. "

ORIGINAL PRINTS

An original print is one where there is no other original, just a plate or a stone or
a screen, etc. The process of original printmaking appeals to me because it is a
human process; it involves no complex optical equipment other than my own eyes.
I believe that technology often searates us from nature, and I like the idea that
my original prints are made by my hand.
